Decorative Picture Frames
My sketches of animals and the countryside are combined with the art of pyrography to decorate these wooden picture frames. The sheep a reminder of my excursions into the British countryside hiking over fells or driving along winding country roads. Sometimes followed by a stop at the local inn or a visit to the local woollen-mill.
The design is burned into the wood, then the frame protected with acrylic laquer. The perfect setting for your favourite picture or photograph. A decorative picture frame for the knitter perhaps, to display a picture of their latest creation.
